On January 23rd, ABLE BC hosted our annual post-holiday Industry Reception in partnership with the BC Craft Brewers Guild at Red Truck Beer Company. ABLE BC’s Staff, Board of Directors, and close to 100 Industry Professionals attended the reception. Guests sampled Red Truck Beer and toured the brewery, discussed current industry issues and learned about the liquor policy changes that took effect on January 23, 2017.

We were pleased to have Hon. Coralee Oakes (Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction, Responsible for LDB) attend the reception as our featured guest. Also in attendance were Minister Oakes’ senior team, other senior bureaucrats, and the LDB Wholesale Executive Team. ABLE BC thanks them all for their openness to speaking with guests and listening to how the BC Liquor Policy Review and subsequent policy changes have impacted your businesses.
