2024 is a big year for ABLE BC! While our history stretches back nearly 50 years to 1975 with the founding of the BC Neighbourhood Pub Owners’ Association, ABLE BC as it is known today was incorporated in March 2004.

Recognizing the increased costs to businesses due to property crime and vandalism in rural and urban communities across the province, the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation launched its $10.5 million Securing Small Business Rebate Program​, that provides small businesses with funds for eligible commercial property crime and vandalism repairs, or to implement eligible preventative measures.

Join us on May 7, 11.00am-12.00pm, to learn more about the program and how to apply for a rebate. This webinar is designed to help small businesses prepare and submit a rebate application.

The Community Safety Unit (CSU), under the Policing and Security Branch of the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, is responsible for compliance and enforcement under the Cannabis Control and Licensing Act (CCLA), with a focus on the illegal sale and production of cannabis.
