Jeff Guignard is a dynamic leader and communicator with extensive experience in government relations, strategic communications, and association management. As Executive Director of ABLE BC, Jeff advocates for BC’s multi-billion dollar private liquor industry as well as emerging licensed retailers of non-medical cannabis.

Outside of the office, Jeff is passionate about curling, cooking, reading, and motorcycling.

Ann Brydle

Ann Brydle is a dedicated industry professional with over 10 years of experience in liquor retail management, buying, and wine education. She is a skilled communicator and passionate advocate for BC’s private liquor industry. As ABLE BC’s Senior Communications Manager, Ann helps our members navigate policy changes, provides expert business advice, and works with benefit providers who add value to our member’s businesses.

When she’s not working, Ann is probably exploring a winery, riding her horse, or hiking around Vancouver Island.

David Lough

David Lough is a skilled sales and stakeholder-relations professional with nearly three decades of experience as a professional persuader. Having worked his way through university while on the management team of a large pub, David is acutely aware of the challenges that face BC’s licensees. He is excited to bring his knowledge and expertise to ABLE BC and its members.  

As ABLE BC’s Manager of Membership Services, David is your go-to resource for advice and assistance. 

When not in the office, David is often found riding motorcycles, cheering on his favourite sports teams, or enjoying karaoke and quiz nights at his local pub. 

Bo Chen

Head of Cannabis Membership

Bo’s career in BC’s cannabis industry began in the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) days. He primarily worked on the Licensed Producer (LP) side of the industry, particularly focused on licensing and regulatory compliance.

Since cannabis legalization, Bo has been a dedicated advocate who supports businesses in navigating this unique and challenging industry. Bo now brings his years of expertise working in cannabis production, licensing, and compliance, to ABLE BC’s cannabis retail members. He is here to champion our members, fight for their businesses’ needs, and connect them with industry leaders and government officials.

Outside of work, Bo geeks out about fitness, wellness, and fly fishing.
