ABLE BC Seeking Logistics & Distribution Partner for buyABLE Platform

Dear ABLE BC members and industry colleagues,

As part of our strategic planning for our association’s future, ABLE BC is exploring new solutions to our industry’s ongoing issues with ordering and delivery of liquor products. We are currently exploring a new buyABLE program to push the BC liquor industry forward and provide increased value for our members.

We have partnered with PivoHub to build a streamlined, 24/7, business-to-business digital marketplace that will ease the ordering and delivery of local, domestic, and import liquor products. 

buyABLE will facilitate communication with agents and suppliers, make new products easier to discover, bring visibility to inventory, offer order tracking, and provide relevant and up-to-date paperwork. Our goal is to replace the current one-to-one communication with producers for LP and LRS members and make it a streamlined one-to-many experience. 

With PivoHub’s experience and expert software solutions, buyABLE will encompass 2500+ physical ordering and delivery locations across the province. The platform will also allow for transparent delivery tracking, efficient order pooling, and will reduce the number of single deliveries required across different producers.

PivoHub has already completed significant work on key technological solutions that will improve efficiency dramatically. ABLE BC has met with several LP and LRS members, as well as third-party logistics companies, to analyze how this program can best serve our industry.

While the marketplace is well underway, our next step is to secure a preferred logistics and distribution partner to help make buyABLE a reality. While both ABLE BC and PivoHub are united in our desire to solve supply chain challenges in BC, we require a forward-looking logistics partner to proceed
