CLARIFICATION: Liquor Retail Sales on St. Patrick’s Day

Dear ABLE BC members and industry colleagues,

Yesterday, we shared with you the additional restrictions Dr. Henry announced for liquor and food primaries on St. Patrick’s Day.

We have since been informed directly by the Provincial Health Officer these restrictions also apply to liquor retailers. All liquor sales on St. Patrick’s Day – retail and on-premise – must end by 8:00 pm.

We sincerely apologize for this confusion. A copy of the updated public order is still not available, but please refer to yesterday’s update for more information on St. Patrick’s Day restrictions.
