UPDATE: Changes to Regional Public Health Orders
Dear ABLE BC members and industry colleagues,
During this afternoon's press conference, Dr. Bonnie Henry announced that regional gathering restrictions in the Interior Health region will be removed tonight.
Interior Health will be subject to the same rules as the rest of the province, including: province-wide mask mandate, Food and Liquor Serving Premises public order, and Gatherings and Events public order.
The current restrictions in Northern Health have been extended and will now expire on January 31, 2022. Those restrictions include:
All indoor and outdoor organized gatherings require a COVID-19 safety plan, everyone must wear masks, and everyone must be fully vaccinated
Organized indoor gatherings are limited to 50 people and organized outdoor gatherings are limited to 100 people
Worship services are limited to virtual services
Liquor and food primaries that offer full meal service can remain open and offer indoor dining, but must continue to check for BC Vaccine Cards. Alcohol service must end at 10:00 pm.
Bars, pubs, and nightclubs that do not offer full meal service must close
For full restrictions in Northern Health, please read the regional order and provide-wide orders listed above.
The gatherings and events restrictions for the Fraser East health region will remain in place.

LDB Update: Impact of ongoing transportation disruptions
On November 29, 2021, LDB Wholesale shared the following update:
Please be advised that, due to ongoing transportation disruptions resulting from road closures and issues impacting BC’s supply chain, the LDB is proactively advising customers and vendors of delays to deliveries and possible limitations to product availability. Highways throughout the province are being closed intermittently as the provincial government takes precautionary safety measures ahead of significant weather events.
The LDB’s Delta Distribution Centre (DDC) and Kamloops Distribution Centre (KDC) have regular inventory levels to supply customers in their regions, but customers may experience temporary service delays and limited product availability due to disrupted transportation routes.
We are continuing to work with our vendors, freight carriers and the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission to transfer product and re-route shipments, including via northern B.C. and the United States; however, the flow of transportation on these alternate routes continues to be slower than normal.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to your members and want to assure you that we are committed to doing everything we can to minimize impacts on customers as much as possible.
With another atmospheric river forecast for this week, we are continuing to monitor the situation, and are working closely with our vendors and freight carriers to seek solutions to enable orders to move throughout the province as quickly as possible.
Further information is provided in the attached memos for Delta Distribution Centre Customers and Kamloops Distribution Centre Customers, that we will also be sharing with customers. While we will attempt to distribute this memo to as many customers as possible, we ask that you help us communicate this information by sharing the memo with your membership.
We acknowledge that the impacts of the past few weeks have been severely felt by our customers, and we are grateful for their continued patience and cooperation throughout this time.
