Interview with David Eby

On October 19 and 20, 2020, ABLE BC hosted our fifth annual BC Liquor Conference virtually. The conference kicked off with a conversation between ABLE BC’s Executive Director Jeff Guignard and Hon. David Eby, Attorney General and MLA for Vancouver Point-Grey.

To give you an idea of the work ABLE BC is doing on behalf of BC’s liquor industry, we encourage you watch the interview here.

During the conversation, Jeff asks the Minister about extending temporary liquor policy permissions (allowing liquor to be sold with takeaway and delivery meals and patio extensions), if government plans to continue wholesale pricing for hospitality customers, delivery fees on third-party apps, licensee sales, shutting down illegal cannabis dispensaries, and more.
