We need your help! Join one of ABLE BC’s working committees

Are you an experienced liquor operator who wants to improve BC’s liquor industry?

Are you highly opinionated, looking to learn about liquor laws, or eager to help define and advance ABLE BC’s policy priorities?

Then we need your help!

ABLE BC is currently seeking active members to join our Liquor PrimaryLiquor Retail, and Cannabis Retail policy committees.

The goal of each committee is to assist the Executive Director and advise the Board of Directors on the specific changes to provincial and municipal policy, regulations, or operational practices that our industry needs to thrive and prosper.

Why join? The primary mission of our Alliance is to build and protect a thriving and sustainable private liquor industry by advocating for the policies and regulations that allow your business to grow and prosper.

Our committees will start by discussing:

ABLE BC’s current advocacy work with the Attorney General, LCRB, and LDB

Our current and future government relations tactics

The training and resources members need to help their businesses succeed and grow

Committees will have a broad ability to set their own agendas and members are expected to commit approximately one hour per month for meetings (held in Vancouver and via conference call).

To join or ask questions, please contact our Executive Director Jeff Guignard at jeff@ablebc.ca.
